Questions and Answers Is there a charge for services when purchasing or leasing? No. In a purchase all agent fees are paid for by the seller. In a lease the fee is paid by the apartment communities out of their advertising budgets- this does not effect rental rates. There's no catch, we promise.
What do you offer over "rebate", "free move", and other locating services? "Free move" companies have one HUGE disclaimer. They say they will move you for free "SUBJECT TO OWNER APPROVAL." Often they do not have owner approval, you will sign your lease, they will take their commission, and you will still pay for your move. "Rebate" companies often can not get you the best rent specials. Many of these rebates are possible because the apartment community makes up the difference- and then some- by not offering the best specials when these locator companies are used. We give you access to virtually ALL properties in Austin and Central Texas. Read our competitors fine print and discover that their "extensive database" is filled with ONLY the properties that have agreed to their conditions. We will search through every Apartment Community AND PRIVATE LISTING that matches your request. We are also glad to give you our undivided attention, and personalized service. We will personally escort you to view any property...some of our competition will not. Some of our competition is run by automated computers. Automated computers are what caused all those problems in "The Matrix" and "2001: A Space Odyssey". Our personalized service is designed to ensure long-term relationships with our customers and clients. Through renting, to buying and selling, we want to be there every step of your Real Estate way.
Why do you think your agents are the best? Aside from our mothers telling us that we are excellent judges of character, our company is designed to attract the most knowledgeable, productive, self reliant, and motivated agents in Texas.
Why aren't there any photographs on you website? There are. Your computer is just too old to see them. That was a joke. I'll stop now. The website is designed to deliver concise and pertinent information, and to load quickly. We have access to thousands of photos -of homes for sale and rental properties- and upon your request we are glad to give you prompt access to those that suit your requirements.
What's the difference between a Realtor® and an Apartment Locator? Realtors® and Apartment Locators are both licensed by the state of Texas to practice Real Estate.Realtors® are dues-paying members of a local Board of Realtors, and have access to the MLS (Multiple Listing Service)- a database used to list individually owned properties. The databases used by most "apartment only" locators list just the properties that are owned and managed by companies. We at Metro Relocation Services are Realtors® as well as Apartment Locators and utilize both apartment databases and the MLS system of private listings.
How can I make sure the property pays you? Thanks for asking. When you list your Metro Agent on your lease it is the same as signing our paychecks. Our children and bankers thank you! When you first visit an apartment community, please list your Agent’s Name, and Metro on the Guest Card. ·Most importantly, please list your Agent’s Name, and Metro on the LEASE where it says "where did you hear about us?." Please call or email us and let us know you have applied. Again, thanks for using METRO!
